SURVEY: immigrant or native?
read this article and post your opinion of where you place yourself in the digital domain. Do you disagree with O’Briens contention that digital natives suffer from " internet-induced attention deficit disorder?"
Do you have a better analogy for the technology/learning paradigm? i.e rather than Marc Prensky’s terms of digital immigrant or digital native, do you have another way of contextualising the digital have’s and have not’s?

By next week you should have completed ten posts which must include:
• seven step outline of your favorite film
• video clip of montage and clip of 6 line dialogue(INT/EXT reverses chromakey sequence)
• Premise and treatment for three shot montage and storyboards
of the ten blog posts four will be assessed
These will be graded and represent 20% of your final mark
for example
post one: storyboards of your montage see link
post two: seven step outline of fav film see link
post three: video clip of montage with your analysis of the outcome and how it could be improved how to link
post four: detailed analysis of your favorite media website
Blog Posts should cross-reference other student posts and mediate/remediate their content see link

Embedding video clips on your blog: method 1
Upload your clip to a server: YouTube, Google Video, dailymotion, vimeo, clipupload etc.
LogIn to your Blogsome account and go to plugins.
Deactivate the WYSI-wordpress tab.
You can now embed video from any streaming sites.
Go to where the clip has been uploaded and copy the "embed file" data.
Paste this into your blogsome post and Publish.
Note that servers such as YouTube reformat your video clips to Flash movie files, often distorting the quality of your clip…

Test Image Upload and Embed
the code for embedding an image in a blog post is:
<img src=’/images/sunflarecopy.jpg’ alt=’’ />
where, in this case, sunflarecopy.jpg is the name of the image.
Process
Create the image you wish to embed/publish using Photoshop. Ensure the file size is 72 dpi(Image-Image Size).
Resize the image to suit your needs:don’t make it wider than your blog page…e.g. the sunflareimage above is 5cm x 3.6 cm.
Select: File– Save for Web and Devices, and output as a jpg or png if it is a continuous tone image (or gif if it is a solid colour graphic).
1. Upload this image by logging in and selecting Upload from the Site Admin of your blog.
2.Copy the code shown when the file is successfully uploaded.
3.Choose HTML from the Write-Write Post menu/
4.Paste the code. Update.
5. Add text to your post in the regular Post window, where the image should now be previewable.
6.View the site and Refresh the browser.
